Welcome to Louisville Slugger

It takes a special place to craft the Official Bat of Major League Baseball. Since 1884, Louisville Slugger has put prime lumber in the hands of the greatest players of the game. A visit to the museum shows you how the sport has changed a bit between then and now, but the "crack of the bat" remains one of the sporting world's most thrilling moments.

> Travel Alert

If you are driving Interstate 64 Eastbound to Louisville, please be aware the Sherman Minton Bridge connecting Indiana to Kentucky is closed indefinitely. You will need to take a detour by following Interstate 265 East (Lee Hamilton Expressway) to Interstate 65 South which will bring you over the Ohio River to Louisville. If you approach the area on this route during morning or afternoon rush hours, be prepared for slowed/stopped traffic and long delays. We know this is not great news for travelers coming that way but we wanted to pass it along because as Yogi Berra would say, "If you don't know where you're going, you might wind up someplace else."
